I started the Garmin GTN 750 Trainer today (outside of MSFS) and it reported that there was a new version available. I then checked the TDS GPS Manager which reported that the latest version was the one I have installed. It did not list the new version that the Garmin Trainer is asking if I want to update to.

Is it safe to update to the new trainer version that the Garmin Trainer software is suggesting?

I just bought the TDS GNX750xi for the C414 and when i try installing the product through the TDSGPSManager it throws an error code and says the following ...gtim file does not exist.

As per latest update from Carenado (V1.6) we've got finally the VC integration of the TDSSIM GTNXi.


Initially the integration seems to be fine, also the AP is working. Althought the 2D popup does not work, but that is not my primary issue.

My issue is, that randomally during flight, the GTNXi freezes.

Meaning, the display freezes and there is no interaction possible anymore with touchscreen.

I have these versions:
. Garmin Trainer version 3.3.1.0
. TDS GTNXi version 1.0.2.2
. Carenado M20R Version 1.6
. WT GNS Version 1.1.2

In the log it says:
GTNProxy::Open Services DLL Version: 1.0.2.2

Can you give me a lead what is going wrong here ?

Hello everyone, I have a quick question, have searched everywhere. I just purchased the software however it says the database expired in 2021, out of date and no databases in the database tab. Can someone please help with this? Thank you in advance.

Whenever I touch the GTN 750 screen there is an awful buzz sound. Same sound I hear before MSFS crashes sometimes. Everything works though. I remember this sort of issue in XP 11 with the rxpGTN brand also. Never found a fix for that either

I had to do a re-install of MSFS. Now when I go into either the Cessna 414 or King Air the TDS GTNxi doesn't show up on the screen. Yes I've turned the master avionics switch on. I've also selected a livery that show the TDS GTNxi. I'm at a loss, I've tried everything and it won't show, any idea's? Thanks

I've been a very happy TDS GTNXi user.  Today I upgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 11.
Upgrade went well. But unfortunately GTNXi has a blank screen in both Black Square King Air and Milviz C310.

Offline GTNXi works ok though.

I'm in the Cessna 414 with the TDS GTNXi. I've saved flight plans from both Little Nav Map and Simbrief in the correct folder. (C:/program data/TDS/GTNXi/FPL) . When I go into the aircraft and select flight plan/ catalog/menu there is no Import button like shows in the TDS GNXi manual. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong but have no idea what. I have to manually enter the flight plan. Please Help!

I've seen YouTube video's of guys making the different screens on the tds gtnxi pop out but can't figure out how to do it. I tried right alt but that didn't work. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks guys!

TDS version: 1.0.2.1. (purchased)

I've tried to do several RNAV and ILS approaches with the GTN750xi and the gain is very poor when you get in close to the runway.  When the Source is set to GTN750xi (or 650) the CDI needles don't deflect enough when off course.  You can be 200+ feet off course and the needles will be centered.  This is for both GPS and VLOC when the source is the GTN.  If I go into settings in TDSGTNXiFlightSimEXE.exe and change the source to "Flight Simulator" (when on ILS) the needles deflect to where they should be on the approach.  However, on this setting you can't use the GPS.  Vertical accuracy seems to be pretty good maybe a little off.


Are there any settings I can adjust to turn up the gain on the CDI needles?
