Blank MFD screens
#1
1.According to the TDS manager the download and installation was successful.
2. The plugin reports GTNXi 750 is the Master.
3. With C-760XL GTN750Xi loaded and operational, powered up Avionics on, both MFD's are blank.
4. clicking the pop-up spot, a display opens full screen.
I have tried re - installing, without success.
I would appreciate any advice I can upload any logs you may need.
Perhaps you may advise an uninstall and complete re download and install.
Thank you, in anticipation.

Hello,

Does the TDS GTNXi XPlane function as a VC integration in other X-Plane aircraft?
If it does, then refer to the readme text file of the C560XL to enable the TDS Custom Avionics Devices (beta feature).

Please let us know how it goes.

I'm having the same problem.  All my aircraft where I use the GTN750
Citation 550
Pilatus PC12
Kingair 350.

Install says successful.
Previous version worked fine.

My issue is resolved.    I had a 2nd xplane12 install for testing., the new TDS update pointed to that install.
I zipped up that 2nd install, and reran the TDS update, and all is now working.

Sorry for the confusion from my end.
This has bit me in the past, I should have remembered  Huh.
Also, I have to run the TDSMGR as administrator, don't know if that's normal, but it works.

Hopefully this will help others.
Thanks
BPW....

Is there a pointer of some sort that I can check next time, a symbolic link or something?

Hello BPW,

At the time of writing, the TDS GPS Manager can only use the first path of the x-plane_install_12.txt, as shown here:
http://www.forum.tdssim.com/thread-1430.html

You can either manually copy the TDSGTNXi from the first XPlane plug-ins folder to secondary installations or reorder the paths inside the txt file.

Supporting multiple paths is a feature is on our long to do list.

Hello,
I checked the readme instructions and made the entries to the Output preferences TDSGTN.ini file
[GENERAL]
CustomDevice.Selection = 1
CustomDevice.Selection = 2
Chart.selection=0

[GAUGES]
Installed=GTN750_1, GTN750_2
DisabledAP-1
 Lo and behold the display's lit up.
I shall now study the manual to re-size the pop up which is still Fullscreen.
Thank you for your advice. All is well.

That makes sense, as I 'moved' xplane installs around.
I'll make a note of that file for future self induced issues.

Thanks for the support!
