When using the popup (activating by Right ALT and Left Click) in external view the touchscreen is not functional.
The touchscreen of the popup in the internal view is fully functional.

Can we have the touchscreen in the popup in external view functional (like it is in the internal view) ?
Or is this a limitation of FS2020 ?

Could somoene who knows how this is supposed to look please kindly look at my flightplan screenhots and let me know if this looks OK as far order of waypoints and how appraoch waypooints are AFTER the final destination of KGSP? (maybe waypoints will shift around wonce flightplan is activeated?)

Second quesiotn - should I be delteing either the first or second instance of SPA? SPA is my airway exit wayppoint, l but also IAF of the approach. Should one or the other be deletef from the flight plan so there is no duplicate? and if so - which one? Or it does not matter that there are 2 of them?

I guarantee I'm not the first one to be stung with this one

I have the RXP GTN installed for P3D which is also based off of the Garmin trainer, and I was very pleased to see when I installed the TDS GTN that it picked up that install of the trainer so the install only took 30 seconds and I didn't end up with 2 trainers taking up drive space.  

Nice, right up until I launched MSFS and up came an error about the GTN NXi trainer not being installed, please reinstall via the manager.

Several minutes of searching later I found that the manager is the installer, like most people in these days of decent broadband I just open installers without saving them so I didn't have it, easily solved, and it said the latest version of the Garmin trainer was definitely there.

Cue headscratching, then I had the idea to see if the NXi worked in the Garmin trainer and voila - the RXP unit needs the base Garmin GTN trainer and that is what the manager checks for, the TDS unit needs the GTN NXi add-on within the garmin trainer which isn't installed by default and the manager doesn't check for it. Once I sussed that out a single click on an 'install' button inside the trainer added that NXi trainer and we're over that hurdle.

Not the first, won't be the last, leaving this here for the next person that needs it

The TDS GTNXi is fully compatible with the MSFS World Update 8 (Spain and Portugal) which has been recently released.
There is no need to install a new update or a patch. Please enjoy the TDS GTNXi!

Are VNAV descents using Autopilot available with this software?

After several hours of testing with both VC and standalone setups have not been able to fly a VNAV descent using the autopilot to follow a profile.  Comfortable with the process from simulator and RL experience, but noticed that after engaging VNAV to follow a profile ... do not see a change to VPATH and aircraft does not descend.

Enjoying the software otherwise and appreciate clarification on this question.

I'm really not feeling this software. Nothing but problems since I installed it. For one, I have lost ATC comms in the sim. Even when no flight plan is asetup in the GTN. I can hear the radio clicks, but no messages. Secondly, the GTN650 goes black several minutes into flight, but not always. This is in the JustFlight Arrow II Turbo. Then finding out all the things that don't work AFTER purchase like flight plans created in the GTN do not link with in-game ATC. As a total noob to the GTN, I can say this is not user friendly at all. It's frustrating more than anything else.

Is there a guide on how to use this software within MSFS2020? The TDS guide only focuses on installation. That was marginal at best as i was presented with all kinds of screens that weren't in the TDS install guide. If you have no idea how to read charts, or use the GTN for that matter, where do you go to learn? Throw in the issues with sim integration and I'm more than likely going to bin this as a $50.00 loss. I think the expectation here is that you have to know how to use charts and the GTN itself for the product to be useful, which is fine, but for a new user, there's no start point of reference to get you going. You're pretty much on your own.

I must be missing something.  In the MSFS C-172 for example, i cannot get the GTN to provide lateral guidance on the HSI.  I am using version 1.0.1.2, the GTN is set to Nav1 and the source is GTN750 Xi Unit one.  However the HSI is still being run by the in panel GPS. 

Is there any aircraft that will provide vertical guidance with this unit? I sure miss P3D because of that.
