Good day,
I installed the TDS software and reinstalled since I was having issues but that did not solve my problems. First item is that when I launch the TDS Flight sim (version 1.2.0.8) I have to check the external hardware compatibility box each time, I use 1 GTN650 from realsimgear. Second issue is that upon each relaunch of the software I have to maximize the window on the 650 display. And last issue is that the TDS software crashes upon launch of MSFS2020.
Thanks for any feedback.
Greetings
Marnix

Hello Marnix,
We are sorry to hear that you are having issues, we are here to help.
Unfortunately we do not understand exactly what is doing on, as you are reporting multiple issues, yet the most important, the TDS crashing upon load, is the most serious and should prevent the others from even working. We need to address this first.
Please give us as many details as possible on the crash. We need a crash log event of the TDSGTNXiFlightSimEXE.exe crash.
After providing us with the details, please reboot thee PC, then delete this file: TDSGTN.ini (after backing it up)
Located here:
C:\ProgramData\TDS\GTNXi\FlightSimEXE
And start MSFS 2020 again, let us know how if this solves the crashing.
Best regards.

Thank you for the reply, I reinstalled everything and now I am able to run the software, I added the "standalone" file in the GTNXi folder so this is solved.
The other problem of having to maximize the window and having to tick the external hardware compatibility each time remains. I use the Beech Siera with the G3X. I don't have any flightplan display on the G3X.
Thank you for the follow up

Hello,
Thank you for letting us know.
In regards to the external hardware checkbox not saving across sessions, this is correct and it is not a bug. On purpose it is not a persistent option, as it disables other GPS units in aircraft that do not have the TDS GTNXi natively installed. So this is not needed in the G3X configuration.
In regards to the GTN Xi not saving the 650 window position between sessions, you can modify the coordinates of the window inside the TDSGTN.ini file manually, until you determine the best ones. Please note, this is not an official and permanent solution, we have great plans ahead with the TDS GTNXi in regards to standalone mode after our next feature release. For this case, we hope to have a much more intuitive solution.
For the G3X flight plan display, this is another question. The TDS GTNXi fully works with the WT G3X, especially with the FSW Sierra. Did you remove the tds-gtnxi-gauge from the MSFS community folder? It is mandatory to have it present for the integration to work.

Thank you, so that leaves the G3X issure. I did not remove the tds-gtnxi gauge in the community folder. I do only use a 650 and not the 750, could this be an issue?

In the meantime these are my findings at this stage. I am using only a GTN650 unit (realsimgear hardware) and not the 750. In my aircraft I also just have the G3X and the GTN650. What I see now is that if I put a flightplan in the 650, nothing is displayed on the G3X but if I open the window of the 750 and I put a flightplan in there, it does show on the G3X.
Also when I push the buttons of the GTN650 from realsimgear, they react on the 750 software and not the 650.
I think this should narrow the problem. I hope this is solvable.
Thank you

Hello,
While a more permanent fix will come from a future TDS update, as a first step, please change the active navigation source from inside the TDS GTNXI interface from the GTN&50 Xi Unit 1 to GTN 650Xi Unit 1
As far as the RSG buttons, they will involve modifying the RSG CommandMapping.ini file to switch in between the values of the units.
