GPS Navigation source to drive the autopilot
#1
Hello guys,

In the manual there is a mention of how to change the navigation source to drive the autopilot. But I cannot understand what the point with this option is, because in the simulator it seems to do nothing, other than causing the NAV mode no longer being able to track the active route. Has anyone else try to fiddle with this option?

I was maybe hoping that the correct SIDs and STARs (up to date) would show up, but they don't.

Regards

Hello,

The active navigation source is there in order to change between the GTNXi units in case of a dual installation. This would mean that you can take over with the second unit and fly a different plan.
