MSFS 20 GTN 750 No auto slew
#1

I just did a full reinstall of Flight sim 20 since I upgraded to Win 11 Pro. After reinstalling everything I am noticing that my TDS GTN 750 does not Auto Slew my CDI to the proper course. I have to slew it manually. I have tried reinstalling the GPS itself with no luck. My trainers are up to date and so is the gauge according to the TDS GPS manager. This is happening to all my add on aircraft. I have all the settings set correctly in the manager, Auto Slew check marked and GPS is set to VOR 1. Thank you for the help. Kinda at a loss.

Please post a screenshot of the TDS GTNXi settings page for the respective GTNXi unit showing the checked settings.

I just attached the photos with my current settings. I even took a picture of what I see in the sim. In the above scenario, I have the GTN going direct to CLT with a direct course of 069 and the CDI just sits at 360 unless I manually slew it.

Thank you for the screenshots, we will investigate this.

Which version of the Duke do you have installed?

The Turbine Duke is version 0.1.2 from Just Flight. I first noticed it using Carenado PA-44 Seminole. That is the most current version from the MSFS marketplace. Seems to be happening on every aircraft I have the TDS on. Fresh install of Windows 11 Pro
Steam version of MSFS 2020. Fresh and up to date install.

Something else I also noticed is, any selection I change in the TDS GTNXi manager doesn’t even reflect in the sim. I just changed the TAWS voice type to Male, airplane color to magenta and airplane type to low wing and the only change is the airplane icon reflects low wing. Nothing else changed. TAWS voice was still female as well. I will post screenshots showing what I did and what it looks like in the sim.

Hello,

For the settings to take effect, you need to make the setting change while in flight, then restart the TDS GTNXi.

Oh ok. Thanks for the heads up. I have never made a change in flight so that’s why I was confused there. Still having an issue with auto slew for some reason.

Hello,

For auto-slew, when in flight with the Duke loaded, please open the TDS GTNXi interface from the system tray and change the Connect GPS to OBS from None to VOR1.

This should only be done when in flight with the selected aircraft!

Sorry, I have been away from my computer awhile for work. I did what you stated and it finally worked. I just had to cycle the check mark for the CDI Slew option from in the sim and it came alive. Thank you so much for the help. I had never made a change from in the sim before so that was why I was so confused.
