Which GTN 750 hardware bezels are compatible?
#1
Hi.  I'm interested in your software but wish to have a bezel that works like the real one (functioning dials and buttons).

A company called Elite has an obscure one for the regular GTN 750.  Any idea if that is compatible?

RealSimGear said they have an Xi coming out in a month or so.  A few of their standard 750's are still available on some websites.

RealSimGear recommends your Xi software strangely considering their non-Xi hardware version has been the only one available (I think...)

I use the FlightSimBuilder 530 now and that arrangement is ideal.  The virtual panel matches the popped out FSB 530 panel.

Xi features optional since the real 421 I'll be in has a 750 (not Xi).  No preference though.

Is there any current hardware/software combo that will work in the 414 Chancellor like the FSB 530 does?   Shy

Hello,

Thank you for your inquiry on the TDS GTNXi Pro and the hardware available.

From the TDS SIm Software side, we have worked with these hardware developers: RealSimGear, FlightSimBuilder, FSAvionix, Aeroavionics
We do not have any experience with Elite hardware.

As far as the RealSimGear GTN 750 bezel, while there is a difference in the button positioning(only the Home key) and bezel shape, there are no functional differences, it is working very well with the TDS GTNXi Pro. The differences in bezels between the GTN and GTN Xi are not of the functional type, but of cosmetics and positioning of the Home key; the rest of the knobs/DTO key are the same.

As far as the TDS GTNXi Pro, this is a 1:1, pixel by pixel rendition of the GTN Xi software, both for the 750Xi and 650Xi; as well as real life logic for the navigation part, so it can not get better than this in a flight simulator environment. We have worked closely with FSW so the C414 will function properly with the TDS GTNXi Pro.

There is also an active TDS Sim Software Discord channel where we have quite a few users with hardware, which can answer specific questions in case you have any:

Hi and thanks.  I've ordered the RSG GTN 750.  I take it there is no prior TDS software version and that it wouldn't make a difference.  Good news about the 414.  Looking forward to setting it up!  Smile

Hello,

We are not sure what you mean by "I take it there is no prior TDS software version and that it wouldn't make a difference"

We hope that you will enjoy the TDS GTNXi Pro with the RSG 750!

GTN 750Xi vs GTN 750

Since realsimgear has both (the standard GTN750 and the Xi coming out in the next month or two) I imagined there might be two versions of the software as well.  I am now to the GTN though.
