Black Screen in all aircraft
#1
Hi,
After yesterday's successful flight, today the TDS GTN 750 screens are all black.

I found the thread about reinstalling and rebooting the latest version 1.2.0.8 as an administrator. I did all that, but it did not help.

I made sure that Avionica Master is on and giving power (by switching back to the GNS in the Miviz 310), but the GTN 750 stays black. I tried the Milviz 310 and the SWS C414 (yes, correct livery selected).
Any help is appreciated.

Additional info:
When I run the TDS GTnxi Flight Sim 1.2.0.8, and click on the 750Xi button, that works, but not the integration of the aircraft.

Further info: I unistalled and reinstalled the Trainer and the GTN software, no luck:

Please help!

Hello,

Which version of MSFS are you running?

If you are running MSFS 2024, please check the Content Manager to re-enable the tds-gtnxi-gauge (VC integration gauge)

Not to worry, we will get this sorted, we always do.

Thanks, it was the disabled gauge. Don't know why it gets disabled now and then...

I used to have the TDS load automatically when MSFS2024 started (splash screen appeared for a few seconds during loading). That does not happen any longer and I have to manually start the TDS Manager to get it to work. How can I restore the ability of the add-on to load automatically?
Thanks!

Sorry, I'm confused. Where is the "Content Manager"? Do you mean the Community folder, or elsewhere? Thanks

NEVER MIND: I just remembered where it is - in the sim.

OK. I'm back and perplexed. Checking the MSFS2024 My Files window, the TDS is there and it says "Enabled". The file "tds-gtnxi-guage" is also in my MSFS2024 Community folder with all the sub-folders. Yet, when I start MSFS2024, the splash screen still does not appear and the GTNXi750 will not appear when I load the planes (tried with the Just Flight Pipers and the Carenado Seneca and Arrow III). The screens remain dark.
I have to manually start C:\ProgramData\TDS\GTNXi\FlightSimEXE\TDSGTNXiFlightSimEXE.exe which then results in the splash screen appearing and a few seconds later, the GTNXi appears on the screen, completely normal.
At one time, even with MSFS2024, the program started during the sim's start-up. That just does not happen anymore. I don't know if Asobo changed something and I am perplexed when TDS does not start when it has been enabled and the folder and files are, indeed, in my Community folder.
I can start the GTN manually each time, but prefer having it start automatically. Any help is much appreciated. THANKS!

Hello,

There must be an active TDS GTNXi entry in the EXE.xml file of MSFS 2024, for the TDS GTNXi to auto-start.
You can find the EXE.xml file here:
C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache

Where %username% is your username.

In addition, are you starting MSFS 2024 as an administrator of the TDS exe with some special process options?
