Need help getting the  TDS gps to work in the Black Square Baron and Bonanza.

Once in a while, the gps does appear in the aircraft cockpit on startup and seems to work, but most of the time there is just a black space there, and I can't turn it on. One time it appeared, and while I was setting up to fly on the runway, it turned off and went back to black screen.

I have installed the Garmin trainer and the TDS executable. It seems to be running every time, I see the TDS logo on screen when MSFS is booting up, and the app is present in the Windows tray. tds-gtnxi-gauge is in the Community folder.

I ran the settings/avionics app, but there doesn't seem much change and I flipped the cockpit switches. Only the ASOBO gps units appear.

I am using the first variant of the Baron, with default livery.

when using the TDS GTNXi, I observe the following problematic behaviour of the autopilot throughout a range of compatible aircraft (Black square King Air, Baron, Bonanza, Flysimware C414, Milviz C310):

- Arming NAV and APPR mode is not possible, even when one is more than two dots away from the radial/localizer. The NAV mode immediately activazes when pressed and this can lead to some strange intercepts. According to the manuals of the respective autopilots, this is not how it is supposed to work. NAV or APPR should arm and should activate only when within 1.5 dots.
- Only observed in the King Air so far: The airplane drifts away from the glideslope in some cases, sometimes by more than one dot, although APR CPLD and GS are illuminated on the annunciator panel. I cannot imagine that this is realistic.
- I find that ALT HOLD can lead to some oscillations around the target altitude but this might be subjective.

Interestingly, I observe the same behaviour when using the stock Asobo KAP140 autopilot. However, it goes away when using the PMS50+WTT mod or the WTT GNS530W as primary GPS: arming modes is suddenly possible and tracking of the G/P is rock-solid. You can best test this when using the Black square aircraft with hot-swappable avionics where you can compare the autopilot basically side-to-side in the same situation. This is, what leads me to believe, that the TDS uses parts of the Asobo autopilot code which carries over some of the bugs. Is there a way to fix that in a future update?

I’m using the TDS Manager. I’m installing the TDS Garmin GTN 750xi on a new computer. The trainer installation fails and gives the error in the attached photo. I am the only user on the PC and my user name is Lantz. For some reason, the program is looking for a file associated with my last name (Wagner). I checked my User account and that last name is not there. If I continue with the GTN install, it completes but when I start MSFS, the simulation can’t find the TDS GTN 750 on startup. Any clue where I should start troubleshooting?

Hello.

When I start My simulator (MSFS 2020) the TDS GTN splash screen presents itself on the start-up, but then the simulator has completed its start-up, and I load in a plane with the GTN 750 Garmin, the software doesn't show up.  It is just a blank screen.  If I start the TDS GTN from My start menu, and after is launches, it then appears in the simulator.

HOWEVER, 

Once the GTN is active for a few moments, it just stops running.  It doesn't stay active, it doesn't stay in the sys tray, in fact, it completely shuts down.  I hesitate to callit a "CTD" but that is what it seems to be doing.

I can close the simulator and launch the GTN and it does the same thing.  It will go through the licensing process and get to the main screen, and then after a few moments, it will once again, just stop.

I can run the trainer and it runs just fine.  

The versions I have are:

Garmin Flight Trainer:  Installed Version 3.6.0.0

GTN Xi v20.30

TXi V3.5

and the TDS GTNXi Flight Sim 1.0.2.4


Any thoughts on this?

I cannot purchase.

The purchase page hangs and never completes loading.

I am that idiot that doesn't read the instructions and pressed "flight simulator" first thinking I needed to select which Sim I was using... Sorry!! 

Please can you help me install it properly? as now when I delete all files I can find I still get this error message 

The Trainer installation directory is corrupt and needs to be repaired. Please repair the Launcher.

Then (annoyingly) im stuck in a infinite install, fix, install loop.

I can't get the GTN 750XI to show up in the Black Square King Air. I've tried the switch in the cockpit but all I have is a blank screen. Any suggestions, thanks guys!

Hello.  I have such a problem.  For half a year there were problems with the computer and many times reinstalled Windows.  Used up all activations.  What should I do?

Is there a way to persist settings such as the units or the default home screen?  The Garmin trainer remembers these settings but not TDS.  Maybe an INI file I can edit so I don't have to have to constantly change the same settings every flight?
