Full Version: Automatic start of GTNXi when MSFS starts

Hello everyone,
I don't know how I managed it, but for quite a while GTNXi started automatically when I started MSFS.

After I reinstalled MSFS because I switched to a larger SSD, GTNXi no longer starts automatically.

What do I have to do to get GTNXi to start automatically again along with MSFS?

Thanks in advance

Good question. However, I want to know how to stop it from automatically loading with MSFS. I want to invoke it manually. Hope we both get an answer.
...then we could swap our two installations Big Grin
Hello,

The auto start functionality of the TDS GTNXi is managed by MSFS, throught he file EXE.xml which is located here:

C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache
replace %username% with your username. This path is for the Windows Store version.

In case MSFS got reinstalled and the fileis missing, reinstalling the TDS GTNXi Flight Sim from the TDS GPS Manager will regenerate the file.
Of course, modifying its contents would disable the automatic startup procedure, but we strongly advise against it and it would cause black screens with the VC integration.
Thanks a lot. This hint could also be helpful in other cases.
